of a late friday night shift in NY

today's night shift was good - i really dont regret making my way down to work for that 5 hours! :) my colleagues are such awesome people, after our shift at 12 we all sat down at pig out at oven bakes and pasta (yes, FATTENNING CAN!) and there was this trainee tradition that trainees wash everything, which was quite nice (yeah right!) and i did the washing of the dishes. but i find it totally worth it. sometimes its cuz of the people ure washin the dishes for that it makes the hard work seem like nothing. i swear i told Samuel that if NY was ever gonna hire me to wash their dishes, expect no clean dishes for usage during peak hours. haha! :P goes to show how lousy i am yeah? but we all sat down aft pig out, chatting, laughing and it really felt good. like 2 hours of chit chat about Roy's army experience. he had lots of "sias" and "siao liao" haha! but it was fun, his expression is jus hilarious!

hey, the chinese saying does apply to me still - i can enter the kitchen and be successful at work. i enter the kitchen to cook, my man will take care of my mess. needless to say however, to taste my cooking is simply my man's blessing! as for work, i have no doubt in my working capabilities and the salary that i am to draw :D i guess all the reading has got me a lil geared up and HUAT AH ready to go but all in the right direction and a positive motivator!

YES YES YES, i can do it. speaking of which, i got my first paycheck! though a small sum, but still, the smell of my hard earned cash jus brings a big fat smile on my face. im gonna save it to buy J something for his birthday pressie. and oh yes, ive decided to make a cake for J for his upcoming birthday - NY style! ;)

hmm, anyhow my reverse parking is coming along really fine. i havent knocked any poles at all, been really good at reversing and getting the car into position! i think i might jus learn parallel already! and oh yes, the stupid S course is not as Simple as it Seems, but i'd conquer and master it well cuz my name starts with an S - yes, its S-H-A-R-M-A-I-N-E (blame candra for his inability to spell my name, speaking of which, i must find a way to get back at him for that!)

ahh well, my boyfriend fell aslp on me before i even ended work. yes boyfriend is tired, i know. its been a really tiring day. i love u my boyfriend <3 nightys!
